Nestled on the serene Captain’s Island in South Carolina, this bespoke residence combines rustic elegance with modern luxury. The exterior consists of NuCedar Shake siding and a Drexel sandstone metal roof. You enter the home with a Marvin aluminum door.
As you walk in, the living room is a masterpiece with its cedar ceilings and an imposing stone-cast fireplace that anchors the space. Each room is illuminated by tasteful Visual Comfort light fixtures, adding a soft glow that complements the refined interior design. Entertaining is a delight in the sophisticated kitchen, featuring a handmade mosaic tile backsplash, a stone-wrapped hood, and a prestigious La Cornue range.

The kitchen is equipped with a Sub-Zero fridge, custom cabinetry, and unique unlaquered brass custom Palmer glass shelves, which echo the luxurious touches found throughout the home. The lacquered, recessed-panel island and additional built-in custom panel refrigerator drawers in the scullery underscore the thoughtfulness of the design. The home boasts exquisite craftsmanship visible in the white oak beams, floating stone vanity, and brass finishes in the powder room.
Noteworthy are the home’s custom arched casings and doorways, leading to a vaulted white oak ceiling in the primary bedroom, which is accented with seagrass wallpaper and has its own serene en-suite with herringbone flooring, a standalone bathtub, and a walk-in shower featuring slabs of stone and polished nickel fixtures.
